As God’s people, we must attempt to see and hear unfolding world issues from biblical perspectives and timing.

When the shocking events now called “911” in 2001 were being covered by television, I received a telephone call from my son by marriage. Conrad wanted to be sure I was okay. I told him I was studying the Bible to try to figure out what was going on as shown on TV.

Now, I'm still studying the Bible to try to figure out what was going on, especially with previous and recent attacks.  For example, Walid Soebat said . . . . "ISIS decided to behead 21 Christians on a beach front in Tripoli Libya as their magazine Dabiq said that its branch in Tripoli had captured randomly from an apartment complex after checking their identification cards which said “Coptic Christian” [men] and then executed the 21 Christian Copts after being kidnapped late last year.” (Shoebat Exclusive) newly released photos shown online.

Once again, I checked the Bible to find the best place to see what God’s Word has to say about beheadings. That is the last Book of the Bible, and almost the last chapter (Revelation 20:1–7). These verses take place after Jesus gives His life for the faithful followers and ascends into Heaven sending the Holy Comforter to lead us into all Truth. The Gospel of Matthew 24–28 is where we are warned to be wise not foolish Virgins waiting for our coming Bridegroom Jesus (Yeshua).

Here the Earth has been in tribulation for seven years. Jesus comes on His white stallion with His followers on horseback who come with Him to help defeat God’s enemies. It is called the Battle of Armageddon.

The Good News is that we will rule and reign with Jesus the Christ (Messiah), for His Millennial Reign. Satan will have been bound by an Angel and cast into the bottomless pit (Rev. 20:1-3). Peace will come to the earth at last. Yes, peace. It’s going to happen!

The Apostle John also tells us what God showed him about Beheadings. “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them.“

“Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshiped the beast (Antichrist) or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4).

Cry of the Martyrs.  This section of Scripture is speaking about the earlier Christians than the ones we have just looked at near the end of the Bible. Some of the earlier Saints were no doubt beheaded as well as experiencing all kinds of other evil devises though the term isn’t used.

Revelation 6:9–11 describes the Martyrs as: “ being under the altar, the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God and for the testimony which they held.

"And they cried with a loud voice saying, ‘How long O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

God’s answer to them: “Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were was completed” (Revelation 6:9–11).

These Saints were under God’s Holy Altar: resting and praying for those who are going through tribulation on earth. How awesome it is to know that those righteous Saints may be praying for us and/or for our loved ones at certain times.

So when the News of this subject of martyrdom or beheadings is shown on television and other News, you can know what God has to say about the subject from a nearly 6,000-year or more perspective. Why believe what someone teaches who has never researched God’s tried and true Holy Word? Our God Almighty will seriously judge such barbaric activities. Everyone will have extreme vetting at Heaven’s Gate. So repent now . . . and avoid the rush.
